Notes: In recounting the guest-list for her Thursday evening parties, Morrell mentions Barbara Hiles (later Bagenal) - 'a nice springing and gay girl' (p. 278) - as part of a group from the Slade, including Carrington, Dorothy Brett, Mark Gertler.
