Notes: Inscribed by the author on the flyleaf: 'Henry Simpson, with all good wishes from Enid Clay'. The recipient was a banker and poet, founder of the Poets' Club in 1908. Clay was Eric Gill's sister, and this is the first of the Press's books to be illustrated by him.
