Notes: A scarce book, this the author's own copy; a selection of stories encountered by Gaselee, whilst Pepys Librarian at Magdalene College (also engaged on war-work at the Foreign Office) and cataloguing the Coptic manuscripts at Cambridge University Library, with charming illustrations by his Eton contemporary (and fellow King's Scholar) John Mavrogordato.
