Description: FIRST EDITION, occasional spots, pp. 288, crown 8vo, original black cloth, blind-stamped vertical rule to upper board, backstrip lettered in gilt (now dulled), slight lean to spine, a few spots to edges, endpaper maps, the free endpapers with abrasion to fore-margin caused by tape (presumably from an earlier dustjacket covering), dustjacket with some light dustsoiling, a little chipped with backstrip panel slightly sunned, a couple of spots to leading edge of front panel, very good
