The earliest of the author's publications under the imprint of the school he had established in Paris the year before - and an account of the philosophy underlying that institution, and his own lifestyle, which was one of bohemian self-sufficiency in the heart of Saint-Germain, absorbed in arts and crafts. He was, amongst his various activities, a dancer - and the brother of Isadora Duncan, whom he followed to the French capital.
