Notes: The copy of author Humbert Wolfe, with his ownership inscription on the initial blank dated August 1st 1925. Wolfe wrote an admiring study of Moore in 1931. An appealingly unfashionable association copy between two very popular authors of their time.Laid in is a pencil-drawn map of Mayfair, done either for or by Wolfe – though only nicknames are attached, 'M'Owl Directions for Mouse'.
