Notes: Inscribed by the author on the flyleaf, 'Best Wishes from Molly H Fielding / Hill Field / Nov 1964'. From the collection of poet and solicitor John Haines, but without mark of ownership - Haines was, like the author, a native of Gloucestershire. Fielding was better known as a landscape artist and the text here consists of what she terms 'mind pictures', largely concentrated on her impressions of the natural world.
