Publication Details: J.M. Dent, 1956

Notes: A charming anthology, the selection heavy in Carroll and Lear. Original work by Folkard provides a sequel of sorts to his 'Songs from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass' in 1921; here his illustrations include Carroll's 'Aged, Aged Man', who also features in the frontispiece ensemble, along with the Walrus and the Carpenter, the Snark, Struwwelpeter, the Owl and the Pussycat, etc. Uncommon as a first edition, particularly with the dustjacket present.
