Notes: A resonant association copy, inscribed on the half-title: 'To Aunt Fanny, with love from Lily Yeats [and] Lolly Yeats, Christmas 1938'. The recipient was their father's sister, Fanny Gordon (née Yeats). Lily (Susan Mary) and Lolly (Elizabeth Corbet), the younger sisters of William Butler and Jack Butler Yeats, were eminent in the fields of embroidery and printing respectively.
