Notes: This is the first volume of poetry in English translation by the German expressionist and futurist poet August Stramm - the second half of which is taken up with war poetry, of a particularly urgent and excoriating nature. Stramm died on the Eastern Front in September 1915 and his collections of poems appeared posthumously.
