Notes: Scarce. A scientific attempt to improve Euclid's 12th Axiom. The large collection of mathematical papers left by Dodgson give an indication of the vast amount of time he spent on this project. Amidst the mathematical investigations (p.61) is a piece of verse beginning 'I have wandered' which had not before been printed.
