'This extraordinary remedy is made from a recipe received from an Indian called O-gul-sa-wah, the chief medicine man of the tribe of Crow Indians.' The vignette depicts a Crow encampment, with various domestic activities going on, including the arrival of two women bearing herbs or vegetables.
