Notes: A scarce book, here with an inscription to the half-title: 'To Cousin Alfie, with best wishes for his happiness and prosperity, from Cousin Bill, June 1905'. The recipient, a pencil note below states, was Sir Alfred Bucknill - once of Charterhouse School and Trinity College, Oxford, before gaining prominence as a Judge and Privy Councillor.
