The Coronation:

(Satire.) SPECTATOR (a)

The Coronation:

A Poem. Humbly addressed to Nobody who was there.

Description: pp. 19, 4to, disbound, original stich-holes, good

Publication Details: Printed for R. and J. Dodsley... And Sold by J. Morgan, 1761

Notes: The coronation of George III was a lavish affair, and was hugely popular: the Nobody of the title presumably referring to the fact that anybody who was anybody WAS there. The poem is only mildly satirical, but is rich in details of the occasion. ESTC records only 4 locations, BL, 2 in Cambridge (one in Trinity), and Yale (Walpole Library).
