Notes: A presentation copy inscribed by the author to fellow Belgian surrealist René Magritte and his wife Georgette, 'De tout coeur, le 3 décembre 1939'. Dumont, a pseudonym of Fernand Demoustier adopted in honour of his home town of Mons, died in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen in 1945.
