In volume 1 of Vegan Nursery Rhymes Kate updated 20 of the most obviously un-vegan rhymes such as 'Baa Baa Black Sheep.' In this collection, she has 'veganised' a further 20 traditional rhymes to help you teach your child about veganism and the world we live in. Unlike the rhymes on which volume 1 is based, these (with one or two exceptions) were already vegan-friendly. Rhymes such as 'Hey Diddle Diddle' and 'Oranges and Lemons' did not particularly need to be updated. However, Kate has used their memorable format and rhythm to get across some additional powerful and meaningful vegan messages, enhanced once again by her delightful illustrations. The perfect accompaniment to volume 1, no vegan bookshelf should be without it!
